Pastor James and Shari Nickell

Bro. James Nickell came to us in 2015.  He and his beautiful wife, Shari, have been in ministry for over 30 years.  During that time, Bro. James has served as pastor of three churches in Texas (his home state) and as a church-planter and pastor in Canada (8 1/2 years) and New Mexico (6 1/2 years).  He is an AVID outdoor sportsman who loves hunting and fishing.  He and Shari have been married since 1985.  They have two children and two grandchildren.  His life verse is Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you."  Bro. James holds degrees from Houston Baptist University and Southwestern Theological Seminary.  He is currently working on writing his first book, "Soul-Food" (scriptural meditations for spiritual growth).
